Benteng Panyua, which was known as Fort Rotterdam, was built by The King of Goa Tunipallangga in the 16th century. Paotere the Pinisi Harbor was the silent witness during the war between the Dutch and the King of Malaka, where you can see the traditional Buginese sailing boats called Pinisi and the fishery auction.
Then you will visit orchid garden and the sea shell collection where you can see a collection of orchids which have resulted from cross fertilization and inoculation and also a collection of rocks and sea corals that are found in this area. Lastly, you will visit Somba Opu Shopping Centre where you can buy souvenirs or traditional food/snacks to take home.
